Self Catering Accommodation
Westmere Farm was traditionally a small, family run Dairy farm. We ran it as such until 2008, when we found ourselves the only remaining Dairy farm for 30 miles, and it was no longer economic or practical for the collection tanker to pick up our milk.
We rebuilt the Dairy and Milking Parlour and added two cabins to make 5 self catering units, each of which will accommodate 2 people. We let the units Monday – Friday, and Friday – Monday.
We are found in the small village of Kilnsea, at the head of the Spurn Peninsula. Our position on a slight rise gives us stunning views over the Humber Estuary and Spurn Point. The Peninsula has an unconventional beauty that draws people back time and again.
There are many walks in the area, with the coast and river bank both easily accessible. Even at busy times of the year, it is easy to find places to relax and unwind.
The village pub, the Crown and Anchor, is a pleasant stroll away, and serves lunches and evening meals. Further down the peninsula is the Spurn Discovery Centre which is open from 10 each morning for food and information. Two miles to the North is the village of Easington, which has a regular bus service to Hull via Withernsea.
